The Beets was an amazing band on the Nickelodeon show, Doug. Doug Funnie and Skeeter Valentine loved The Beets with every one of their cells. When I was little and watched that show on a daily basis, I was a passionate fan, too. I could easily sing along to ridiculous songs about nothing. I thought this love of mine dissipated...until I came across this jewel. The video is horrendous and I can't watch most of it (due to graphic animated violence). Oh well. Listen to the splendid hard rock of The Beets!!
(Yes, I am young and immature enough to still grasp that childish joy of a silly, pretend band. I'm proud of it.)

Hannah, you are officially my hero. I absolutely loved Doug as a kid. Possibly one of the best shows on Nickelodeon, hands down. That brought back such memories and made my night, so thank you.
There's actually a guy that lives in my dorm that takes a drum pad, places it on a trashcan and just strums away at it and every time I see him do that I think of "Think Big."
